I am a life-long Seeker of the Craft whose first memory of happiness was the knowledge that this world is one of mysteries and magic. I have called myself a Buddhist, Christian, Agnostic and Wiccan in the past. Right now I refer to myself as a nondescript Pagan and practitioner of Plutonic magic. What? Never heard of Plutonic magic you say? That’s probably due to the fact I just made that name up yesterday. It’s a humble henotheist system-in-progress, which I think is a much better use of my free time than watching Buffy re-runs.
This WordPress blog serves as my magical journal, where I will document my perpetual learning. It will almost certainly be too random for an audience, although I hope someday a fellow armchair Ceremonial Magician will walk this way and appreciate this esoteric stream of consciousness. Just think of me as Aleister Crowley with a Nikon D80 (and self-respect).
By day, I am a life-long Scholar of Bureaucracy. I graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor’s of Greed and my graduation ceremony with a procession of Professors adorning long black robes and velvet caps while carrying giant EGL staffs was more elaborate and perplexing than any High Magic ritual I have attended. Because I am impatient, I began my doctorate in 2008 with my other love of research and leadership. I spend no more than two hours a day working on my thesis and every other minute studying magic and witchcraft.
I love photography, Romanticist poetry, heavy metal music, violent films, vampire books, jewellery making and podcasting. You’ll probably get to taste a little bit of each of my loves in this journal.
